Scramble to get out the door with all my stuff- breakfast quiche, coffee mug, lunch, almost forgot the supplements. Thanks love.
8:10 get to the clinic late- crap.
3 other women of child bearing age in waiting room- I think only 1 before me. One older women, I'm guessing someone's here for tubal reversal or egg retrieval.
One got called in for blood work already and sat back down in the waiting room- so either more people are inside getting wanded or the IVF nurses are not in yet.
8:21 done with blood work. Confirmed- no one is here yet to do ultrasounds.
8:30 no pants!
8:40 I think I hear the room next door getting finished. My turn soon?
Carla's on duty today. Lining measuring in at 7.6mm. It's already going down since they measured it two days ago. On to the first ovary- I can tell the follicles are much larger than two days ago. Are they too big? Have they gone too fast? They're averaging about 15.7 mm with a few tiny ones too that she didn't measure. The follicles on the other ovary looks markedly smaller but still pretty even. They're averaging about 11.7 mm. I'm still hopeful for a good harvest but obviously we have to see how the estrogen is progressing.
Take a walk with DH at lunch. He creates that my estrogen will be 2014; I say I'm shooting for 2000 pg/mL.
Try not to think about the results because they probably won't call until after work anyway.
4:16 YEY!!! Carla calls with the estrogen levels! They're 2023! They're happy with this jump and don't want to see me until Thursday. They are keeping the meds the same (400 Follistim, 300 Menopur, 1 Ganerilix), but I should probably order more Follistim just in case. I'll have to check out my reserves....
Shots go smoothly again but I did ask myself- why in the world do they trust people to do this for themselves. Mixing all these medicines and giving shots seems pretty complicated. I have a PhD and I almost mis-dosed myself....
Generally feeling in good spirits. Sweet dreams all.
